Rev Fr Daniel Saabedare Neyoh has been appointed the director of Health Service of the Catholic Archdiocese of Cape Coast by Most Rev Charles Gabriel Palmer-Buckle.
In a letter signed by the Vicar General of the premium archdiocese, Very Rev. Fr. Bonaventure Annan, and addressed to Priests, Religious and the faithful, his appointment takes effect from January 1st, 2022.
Fr. Neyoh was ordained a Catholic Priest on December 5, 2004, for the Catholic Archdiocese of Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana, West Africa.
Since his ordination, Fr. Neyoh has and continues to serve in the healthcare sector. Inspired by the mission of Christ to serve the poor and the vulnerable—and to be a living witness to this mercy and love towards the sick in remote places—it has been the desire of Fr. Neyoh to serve the poor in rural areas in the Central Region of Ghana, especially women and children. In July 2016, father had the opportunity for further studies in the United States in Health Care Management, challenging him to put his new learning skills into practice as a potential hospital administrator. He has since earned a Masters’s degree in Business Administration from St. Joseph’s College, which has paved the way for the birth of RuralGO Health Foundation.
In Aug 2016 he was appointed priest-chaplain at the Huntington Hospital, New York responsible for all the sacramental needs of Catholic patients at the hospital a job he did for 5years 7months
From 2005 -2013 (January ) he was the chaplain at Our Lady of Grace Hospital, Breman Asikuma in the Catholic Archdiocese of Cape Coast, in the Central Region of Ghana and was also a member of the Hospital Management Team and the Head of the Pastoral Team and the HIV/AIDS Unit.
2013 (February ) – 2013 (October ) Fr. Neyoh was the Assistant Director of Health for the Catholic Archdiocese of Cape Coast.
